Are you a Freelance Full-Stack Developer who can turn coffee into Java? Then we have a special mission for you, involving Java 8, Spring and a cool London project.
Project requirements:
The client is looking for a Freelance Developer with solid Java & JavaScript skills, to strengthen their WEB and API team. The job requires full-time working at the client’s headquarters (or at least 4 out of 5 days a week), giving you the chance to interact with the team.
Your official role will be that of Full-Stack Java 8 Spring Developer, working on the client’s DSI DATA&WEB RESOURCES team.
Your mission:
- Support a team of 6-8 people in charge of the evolution and maintenance of the client’s internet portal, as well as the APIs for the RESTFUL service used by the mobile application;
- Maintain a close relationship with the Product Owners;
- Carry out daily development assignments based on business needs;
- Find adequate solutions from both a user and technical perspective.
Technical information:
- Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS/ VueJS;
- Back-End: Java Spring/ Tomcat with Thymeleaf
- Database: PostgreSQL, MariaDB, liquidbase
- Continuous integration tools: Git, Jenkins, Maven, Selenium
The ideal freelancer profile:
- An experienced or senior Java 8 Developer;
- Full-stack skills: solid knowledge of JavaScript (ideally with know-how of a framework such as React, Angular or Vue).
