IT Project Manager | Bucharest

Our client, Central Europe Technologies, the new BNP Paribas Shared Services Center, is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, KPIs, project strategy, roadmap and business case. Ensure that these are periodically updated during the project and aligned with all stakeholders
• Design the detailed implementation planning and drive the project execution by moving it towards its completion and desired results
• Coordination of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams from business, operations, IT, support functions and external suppliers. Guides teams, gives direction and ensures decisions are taken for the teams in complex and/or uncertain situations
• Monitor progress of the delivery and solution
• Proper management of project risks, assessing the health of the project and anticipating the potential issues, risks and impediments and finding ways to reach project goals under changing circumstances
• Adjusts roadmap/solution in response to changing needs. Effectively communicates changes
• Report the status of the project and any deviation from the agreed planning (in terms of timelines, budget, scope, quality), reasons for these deviations and mitigations actions; Prepares and facilitates decision making and ensures that all relevant stakeholders are involved
• Management of the relation with the stakeholders and sponsors of the project, by regular communication in all stages of the project

Requirements:

• University degree – preferably in technical area
• Min 3 years of increasingly responsible experience in project management with proven track record on leading successful projects of significant size and impact
• Problem analysis and judgment
• Persuasiveness: proven ability to convince people and to turn resistance into cooperation
• Performance motivation: result and deadline focus
• Excellent organization and planning skills
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills in Romanian and English
• Working well under pressure situations
