Goals and tasks of mission

The maintenance engineer mission is to maintain products and maintenance team’s backlog. Communication, functional & technical skills to achieve an end-to-end investigation, from the problem management to the bug identification.

Provide some code fixes or spec changes, or delegate this activity to the developers and PDAs in roster in the maintenance team.

Securing the team consistency and efficiency.

Production support

  • End-to-end bug investigation (functional + logs + debugging)
  • Proactive product maintenance
  • Product monitoring
  • Problem & incident management
  • Backlog management (global view of backlog)
  • Capacity to do small code fixes
  • Capacity to do small spec changes
  • Capacity to do implementations
  • Communication with different stakeholders

Accountable of the production stability.

Accountable of the code quality and database management in production.

Accountable for the maintenance service level agreement in production and test systems

Using Kanban methodology, you would be processing the maintenance records and reducing its backlog. Also, you will engage with clients and customers, always being up to date with the products.

Required Skills:

  • C++;
  • Linux/Unix;
  • Oracle;
  • OOP;
  • SQL or noSQL;
  • Automation control software;
  • Full English proficiency.
