The Ideal Candidate

Due to continuous growth of our new branch from Bucharest we are looking to hire a Middle Java EE Developer. Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent is required.

This is the ideal role for a talented JAVA Enterprise Developer with a genuine interest in the telecommunication networks domain, looking to join a cutting edge company.

Job Description

To be considered, you must have:

1. Development experience in Java Back-end applications (2 – 3 years)

2. Knowledge in Application servers & relational DB (SQL)

3. Working with JDBC, JNDI, XML, JSON

4. Spring Framework or Web Profile (Servlets, JSP)

5. Ability to write HLD + LLD specification in English is mandatory

6. The candidate must prove autonomy in his work and the ability to achieve the given tasks in due time and with required level of quality (bug-free delivery)

7. Development experience in Java EE is a plus

8. Linux knowledge is a plus

9. Unit testing or JMeter is a plus

The candidate should be focused, serious, have the ability to take initiative in his job and deliver in a commercial software production, deadline driven environment, whilst working in a team.

Short travel abroad missions for engaging with customers may be required from time to time. Good English language level (spoken, written) is required.

Your challenges

Create implementation specifications
Develop new features for ATES Networks Products in the field of OTT video services and Artificial Intelligence
Understand our Products’ architecture and functionalities in order to be able to provide technical recommendations
Work with different teams in order to ensure Product functionality as an real-time system
Always think “outside the box” and help during integration phases of the Projects
Help solve performance bottlenecks during the testing phases
