Our client, Schaeffler, is looking for a Product Owner Payroll/Time Solutions to join their global team

In our “HR IT Solutions” area, the ” Payroll/Time Solutions” team plays an important role by providing tools and solutions that support effective payroll processing and time management across our HR department globally. To enhance this team, we are immediately seeking a committed and experienced leader as a Product Owner (m/f/d) for our Team “Payroll/Time Solutions”.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional leadership and direction to the Payroll/Time Solutions team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

• Mentor and support team members in their professional development and career growth.

• Lead the development and management of the Payroll/Time Solutions roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and HR strategy.

• Facilitate the delivery of international IT projects for Payroll and Time Management Solutions, guiding the team to ensure successful execution.

• Prioritize and manage the product backlog, maintaining an adequate balance between projects, operations, and capacities.

• Drive the adoption and integration of new payroll and time management solution features, for instance SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay, across the organization.

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of payroll and time management solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while safeguarding stable system operations.

• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating discussions and decisions regarding product features, timelines, priorities, expectations, and the product vision.

• Collaborate with other HR IT Teams to ensure integrative solutions, especially where interdependencies affect multiple teams/solutions.

• Work closely with the leadership team consisting of the People & Competence manager (PCM), the Scrum Master (SCM), and the Product Group Owner HR IT Solutions.

 

Your Qualifications:

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of team leader experience and strong leadership skills incl. motivation, coaching, managing complex situation, team transformation.

• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, specifically within HR IT.

• Several years of experience in SAP HCM (PT/PY) and SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay

• Profound knowledge of the German Payroll and German time management legislations are beneficial.

• Several years of experience in implementation of digitization projects.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, JIRA.

• Good understanding of enterprise integration, and the specific challenges related to interacting with complex ERP environments is very beneficial.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; German beneficial.

• Capability to read and understand German Law texts and work council agreements which are only available in German language.
