About mission
All Preh locations (Ghimbav, Brasov and Iasi) design and develop innovative products for premium
customers in the automotive industry. Using the key competences of the Software, Hardware and
Mechanical Engineering, Preh engineers develop and test the human machine interface (HMI) for
vehicles, commercial vehicles and agriculture, as well as electrical mobility or battery charging
systems for electric vehicles.
For our location in Ghimbav, we are currently looking for HMI Hardware Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to
deadlines and allocating resources; - Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them ;
- Assisting and helping of the employees when needed ;
- Prepares the documentations needed for every project;
- Serving as a point of contact and supporting for teams when multiple departments are assigned
to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy (Software, Mechanics, production,
quality, sales departments); - Communicating with executives to keep the project aligned with their goals
Monitors the progress and initiates the relevant periodic hardware changes (milestone
acceptance); - Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed;
- Assuring that activities are fitting in time and costs;
- Responsible with managing and solving the problems and the conflicts that may occur during
the planning, execution and the completion phase of the project; - Product cost optimization initiatives.
- Evaluation and mitigation risks(technical or administrative)
Required Experience:
- Proven leadership skills;
- Cost and risk management skills;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
- Ability to make important decisions under pressure;
- Problem-solving skills;
- Ability to delegate effectively;
- Time management skills;
- Knowledge in analog and digital circuits, knowledge in embedded systems with
microcontrollers; - University Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Automatics, Electrical Engineering,
Mechatronics; - Solid and previous hardware or system experience;
- Ability to work independently or as a member in an international team;
- Friendly and approachable;
- Automotive experience is an advantage;
- Good English skills in writing, reading and speaking.
- Knowledge about automotive standards: A-SPICE, Functional Safety, etc.
