UniCredit Services is extending the Data & Analytics (or Big Data) department in Bucharest and they are looking for a Project Manager in a Senior position. Being part of the back-end team, you will be involved in managing projects related to engines creation that will feed front-end applications running in different environments. The applications are financial field based requiring computation and processing of big data volumes on a Hadoop environment and also traditional DWH, provided to the Banks of UniCredit Group in mature markets (Italy, Germany and Austria) but also CEE.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of strategic projects, managing their implementation in terms of timing, costs and resources
  • Drive large and complex projects leveraging on Company Standards, Methodologies, Processes and Tools, delivering in compliance with on-budget, on-time, on-quality constraints
  • Identification of new improvement areas and opportunities, planning the necessary assessments and building up evolution drafts and addressing new proposals

Required skills:

  • Capable to operate in a complex environment where different stakeholders – internal and external – have to be coordinated
  • Expertise in one or more banking processes/ areas; understanding about other disciplines and know-how on cross impacts
  • Capabilities to anticipate customer needs, to identify and deliver new and innovative solutions tailored for business expectations
  • Experience in managing complex IT projects, applying different methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
  • Capability to set up project plans, project teams, to deliver projects complying with budget, time and quality constraints
  • Capability to identify risks and conflicts, monitor and manage them with all stakeholders
  • Experience in change management processes, capability to manage relationships and acute negotiation skills

Other requirements:

  • University Degree
  • English fluent, both in speaking and writing
  • Preferred past experiences: Banking, Program/Project Management, IT and System Integration
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel
  • Mastering Gantt plan and risk analysis tools

The following are considered as an advantage: Project Management Certifications, Italian language, Microsoft Visio.
