We currently have a job position for a Data Scientist that is capable of extracting data from eCommerce websites such as Amazon. The client would like to have some specific data from some products for research and use this data to create an eCommerce Website.
Job Description:
The duration of this project is short term, remote. The product is a model number (price, currency, manufacturer) and other data that may be interesting. Currently, it is likely that it will be extracted from Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and Ebay.co.uk with the possibility of other sites.
This data would be stored in a database. The client would prefer the database to Microsoft Access or MySQL. Please note other databases are acceptable, also note that this could be achieved in a long time if the customer is satisfied with the performance as well as the results.
The client is currently based in the UK.
Requirements:
- Must have experience with scraping data from eCommerce websites
- Must be Familiar with Microsoft Access, My SQL or any other database
- Must be able to speak Fluently in the English language
