Overview

The Business Management function for Technology Infrastructure has a diverse scope, offering variation on a day to day basis, and includes strategic planning, organizational design, spend control and saves tracking, headcount management, staff compensation matters, people engagement & development topics.

The person in this role must be able to consolidate the results of this broad range of activities, whilst managing the ongoing internal relationships in order to collate and validate required output and synthesize the relevant business insights for senior management. The role will have staff management responsibility for a Business Management team and will interface with a broad range of internal points of contact from across the wider organization such as Finance, COO, HR, Vendor Management etc.

The role will have two main components(i) TI Bucharest Site lead (ii) Business Manager for a TI ExCo member who runs a global function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Infrastructure (TI) Site Lead for Bucharest;
  • Manage TI Bucharest headcount to target;
  • Interface with the TI ExCo to drive and manage Business Management topics for the organisationrelating to TI ExCo member;
  • Review saves tracking in partnership with TI Financial Resources team;
  • Coordinate and negotiate budget/staff transfers;
  • Guide and coordinate the organization on compensation topics, e.g recognition awards;
  • Manage staff and TI Bucharest communication and engagements;
  • Lead the People Agenda for TI Bucharest;
  • Manage space planning in Bucharest.

Skills& Qualifications

  • Experience in a COO/Business Manager role;
  • Business Judgement and commercial acumen;
  • Slick communication skills;
  • Be comfortable facing off to MD/D level;
  • Strong Influencing skills;
  • Strong Execution skills and be a completer finisher;
  • Excellent Collaboration/ Mediation skills;
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills;
  • Be a team player;
  • Have the ability to think differently, think outside of the box;
  • Have a passion for building a high performing team and have fun doing so;
  • Not essential but would be advantageous to speak German.
