Role Description
Part of End User Computing, the Real Time Communications Team provide Real Time Communication (RTC) services and platforms to all Deutsche Bank Employees. Platforms include Microsoft Teams, Skype, Symphony, Zoom, Room Meeting Systems, Avaya Telephony and Trading Voice.
We are seeking an Engineer to design, develop and deliver significant components of RTC engineering solutions to satisfy changing and diverse business goals. Taking a lead in the design engineering of our NICE NTRx SaaS and On Prem Compliance Capture solution components, you will be a role model of re-use, build fit for purpose and maintainable solutions, encourage best practices and deliver robust and well-tested solutions. The ability to engage and partner with your business in order to deliver solutions iteratively will be key to your success. Our engineers are creative, collaborative, innovative and passionate with a strong desire to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ a range of techniques to analyse problems and evaluate multiple solutions against engineering, business & strategic criteria;
- Collaborate to achieve consensus on topics and issues and contribute to communities;
- Identify and resolve barriers to business deliveries implementing solutions which iteratively deliver value;
- Design solutions using common design patterns with a range of design tools & techniques;
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure designs are fit for purpose, extensible & re-usable;
- Deliver end to end first-class engineering solutions across a range of technology platforms;
- Improve delivery standards, working practices, tools & solutions and driving adoption of automation tools;
- Ensure stable and reliable production environments and high-quality service deliveryuser experience to customers;
- Investigate production incidents & lead remediation, analyse services & components, use SRE concepts to minimise toil;
- Design & build solutions which are secure & controlled;
- Investigate & report on issues and potential risk events within designs and solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
- English written and verbal skills are mandatory with German written and verbal skills are an added benefit;
- Certified Scrum Master;
- One or combination of following formal accreditations :
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Azure
- Developer Associate;
- Analytical thinker experienced in a range of problem solving techniques & approaches;
- Team player who shares and collaborates, a keen listener and quick learner;
- Communicates clearly and influences using coherent, fact and benefit-based proposals;
- Enables experimentation and fast learning approaches to creating business solutions;
- Familiar in the use of solution design tools;
- Track record in identifying and making improvements to the delivery process;
- Experienced in Service Management functions and tools;
- Understands key elements of security, risk & control.
