Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 coders (and growing!) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that Corporate Bank support are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology supports these businesses through CIO aligned teams and also by ‘horizontals’ such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.
Mission description
Surveillance & Regulatory: Surveillance and Regulatory Technology is responsible for delivering solutions that protect the bank’s financial and reputational interests from potentially criminal or inappropriate behaviour by our clients, employees, vendors. It enables the bank to manage its compliance to regulations and the risk appetite to stay in business in the various legislation. In addition, the function, is responsible for driving improvement across the IT delivery cycle through adoption of best practices, automation tooling and metrics, as well as developing a target state DevOps capability.
As a SRE lead, you will be required to:
- Hands-on involvement in day-to-day SRE tasks;
- Manage and provide leadership and direction to application SRE staff in Bucharest;
- Manage and own the incident, problem and knowledge management process for the applications in scope;
- Manage and own the incident, problem and knowledge management processes for the applications in scope, while acting as service manager;
- Develop, co-ordinate and promote the effective functioning of problem management activities across all support teams;
- Lead and prioritize the Application Support team’s work load;
- Provide input to application/infrastructure scalability;
- Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems;
- Design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators, particularly in terms of in-depth trend analysis;
- Maintain application monitoring, performance tuning and testing;
- Ensure there are robust procedures and processes within the application support function remit;
- Provide timely and export advice on emerging trends and issues affecting Service Delivery and Support;
- Develop strategies to allow Application Support to manage resultant problems;
- People management and team development;
- Share / spread knowledge with team members as well as internal teams;
- Pro-active in maintaining and increasing the teams and your own technical knowledge, by identifying training needs or requirements for yourself individually and for the team;
- Coach and develop team members.
As an ITAO you will be required to:
- Represent the application in relation with internal clients, Program Managers, external/internal auditors, CISO/TISO/Development/Central Governance teams;
- Goals-cascade the IT Governance, Service Management, Industry standards, Management of Risk in line with Deutsche Bank’s policies based on COBIT5, ITIL, ISO 20000 and ISO 27001;
- Assist with development of configuration/monitoring/packaging/deployment/automations;
- Steer, oversee and deliver the design and development of industrialization solutions into the production support teams for operations and monitoring;
- Plan, track and coordinate periodic activities for application penetration testing and security vulnerability evaluations accountable for management and remediation of resulting findings;
- Facilitate Disaster Recovery activities by reviewing DR plans and coordinating the execution of DR exercise for the application.
Must have experience
- 10+ years of professional and relevant experience in areas of IT Service Management, Technical Project Management and Application Management;
- Background on Risk Management, Compliance evaluation and Information Security and IT Audit support;
- Technical knowledge: UNIX, Bash/Shell Scripting, RDBMS, Middleware (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), Apache web server, Digital Certificates;
- Coding experience in Java;
- Knowledge on SDLC, DevOps and cloud infrastructure automation;
- Knowledge of technology concepts like: Communication and encryption protocols (HTTPS/SSL/TLS), Networking (load-balancer, firewalls), High-Availability architecture;
- Fast adoption of new technologies, capability to articulate the value, drive adoption and influence product roadmaps;
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal at all levels including senior management;
- Experience working with distributed development teams;
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
