Position description
In the role of QA engineer you will join an Agile working environment within Carrier devlopment team. You will work closely with the Development and Integration teams making sure to meet product requirements and release dates.
Based on the Jira tasks descriptions, documentations and technical specifications you’ll have to perform manual, static, regression and other forms of testing in order to make sure that all aspects of a carrier from labels, documents, manifest files to API calls and source code hold the required quality standard. Once this is done you may also be involved in the release process that happens at the end of every sprint which includes automated tests.

Main Responsibilities
- Verify all aspects of a carrier described above;
- Verify the content of the file output (labels, documents, manifest files,…etc) according to input and specifications;
- Verify and release code changes;
- Execute manual and automated test cases to evaluate product releases;
- Test new features and products in a development environment prior to deployment;
- Collaborate with the rest of the team defining processes, templates and standards that will guide QA efforts;
- Find new ways to automate test cases and help the team be less reliant on manual testing;
Required professional qualifications
- Degree in computer science or equivalent qualification;
- 2+ years of experience in Software testing;
- General knowledge of software development practices and technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans, etc.);
- Debugging webservice requests/response;
- Experience with software configuration management tools (Git);
- Experience with SoapUI/REST API, Postman;
- Experience of bug tracking tools like Jira;
- Experience in automating with Python is a plus;
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g. TestComplete, Selenium, JMeter) is a plus;
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
