About the role

To support its growth, our client is looking for a dedicated Software Developer to develop and maintain new software application. To be successful as a Software Developer, you should have a sound knowledge of software engineering as well as excellent analytical skills. The Software Developer position requires skills and experience in the development of cutting-edge solution to ensure the delivery of the product’s roadmap, in line with the company strategy.

You will be working in a collaborative and cross functional team environment, and you will:

• Develop software solutions to meet customer needs.
• Create, organize and implement the source code for new applications.
• Test the source code and debug.
• Evaluate existing applications to constantly improve the code.
• Write technical documents and regularly comment the source code.
• Perform code review for the other developers.
• Create, support and nurture a culture of Continuous Improvement in software development.

Your skills – Competencies

• Good ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• A strong knowledge of Microsoft programming environment (.NET, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SQL Server).
• A working knowledge of programming languages such as VB.NET, C# or JS.
• Good mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and team-working skills.

Your profile – Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Informatic or professional experiences in an area of software engineering.
• You have ideally a background as an engineer software developer or software architect.
• Previous experience in application and software development is required.
• English is mandatory, French speaking is a plus.
